The Cash Application Specialist will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers throughout the world, both on the phone and via email. The Specialist will book bank statements on a daily basis; review and process credit/debit memos, and reconcile customer receivable balances.

General Responsibilities • Downloading payment details and self-billing invoices from customers’ websites • Preparing and booking bank statements on a daily basis according to company's deadlines • Register and assign customer deduction for verification • Offset of Credit and Debit Memos with Charge Backs • Work pro-actively with other departments to identify and resolve issues • Investigate and resolve customer queries, payment discrepancies • Communication with customers in respect of missing documents and information via phone, email, mail • Respond to customer inquiries • Reporting of unapplied/on account receipts on a weekly basis • Support other reporting activities, as required • Perform reconciliation and month end activities as per schedule • Support Tax and SOX audits as required • Support other accounting projects, as necessary Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Credit & Collections or General Accounting; 
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS & Oracle Apex; 
• Ability to analyze large data sets and payment transactions using Microsoft Excel;
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills; 
• Effective communication skills when interacting with internal stakeholders and external customers; 
• Experience working in a shared service center or multinational environment; 
• Knowledge of SOX controls, reconciliation processes and financial compliance requirements; 

Gross Annual Salary Range:

18,407.00 EUR - 25,308.80 EUR

The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.

The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
