Main Purpose
Trafigura Uruguay is opening its doors for our Career Day, taking place at our Montevideo office on Friday 23 October 2026.
If you are curious about how the commodity trading business actually works, from sourcing and pricing a cargo to financing, shipping and delivering it, this is your chance to see it from the inside. Spend a morning with the people who do it every day: trading, logistics and supply chain operations, finance, deals desk and more!

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
We are looking for advanced students, recent graduates and young professionals who want to build a career in commodities and want to understand the business before they choose a path.
Who should apply
- Advanced students or recent graduates in international business/relations, logistics & supply chain, economics, accounting, finance, engineering, data science, or another relevant field
- Up to 3 years of professional experience since graduation
- Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken (the session is run in both languages); Portuguese is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable taking initiative and working at pace in a results-driven environment
About the Career Day
We will select a limited number of applicants based on academic background, motivation and professional experience. Selected applicants will receive an invitation by email with the full agenda, the office address and access instructions.
