Car Park Attendant
Location: Stockport Kia, Stockport
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Stockport Kia is looking for a reliable and proactive Car Park Attendant to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of our dealership by ensuring vehicle movements are managed safely and efficiently.
As a smaller site with limited parking capacity, you will play a key role in maintaining an organised forecourt and helping maximise available space. You will be responsible for moving customer and stock vehicles around the site, assisting with vehicle parking and manoeuvring, and supporting the wider team with operational tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and park customer vehicles and dealership stock vehicles.
- Organise vehicle parking to maximise site capacity and maintain an orderly forecourt.
- Assist with vehicle manoeuvring in confined spaces.
- Support the Sales and Service departments with vehicle movements throughout the day.
- Ensure vehicles are parked safely and in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional dealership appearance.
- Report any vehicle damage or site issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
- Be confident driving and manoeuvring a range of vehicles.
- Have excellent awareness of vehicle and pedestrian safety.
- Be organised and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support different departments.
- Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Previous experience within a dealership or automotive environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
