As a Field Sales Consultant with Henry Schein Canada, you will represent a broad portfolio of dental products, services, and business solutions while helping practices operate more effectively and deliver quality patient care. WHAT YOU WILL DO

•  Own and grow an assigned dental sales territory, with a focus on increasing market share, sales volume, gross margin, and customer satisfaction.

•  Build trusted relationships with new and existing dental customers through regular face-to-face consultation, needs discovery, and responsive follow-up.

•  Identify, qualify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities, including leads and client referrals.

•  Recommend Henry Schein products, services, sales programs, and business solutions that align with each customer’s practice needs and goals.

•  Prepare and deliver persuasive product and service presentations, proposals, and sales contracts, and negotiate effectively with customers.

•  Create and execute territory sales action plans using company programs, tools, promotions, educational programs, seminars, conventions, and sales events.

•  Use Salesforce CRM to manage customer interactions, maintain accurate sales activity records, track opportunities, and support effective follow-up.

•  Stay current on dental market trends, competitors, market conditions, and product developments to uncover opportunities and strengthen your territory.

WHAT YOU BRING

You bring post-secondary education in a related discipline, along with 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with 3–5 years preferred. You are a self-driven, consultative seller who builds strong relationships, influences decisions, negotiates effectively, and knows how to close business. Strong business acumen, communication and customer service skills will help you succeed, as will the ability to independently manage your territory and priorities. Experience in the dental industry is an asset but not required, and you are comfortable learning and using business technology and CRM tools such as Salesforce.

*This is a field-based sales role covering Ottawa and surrounding areas and requires daily travel throughout the assigned territory.

The base salary for this position starts at $70,000+, with eligibility for vehicle allowance and monthly commissions. Many factors go into determining pay including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc.
