How you’ll make an impact

1. You will manage the full cycle of indirect procurement from Source-to-Pay (S2P) , includes supplier creation/modification, supplier management, RFQ, contract creation, purchase requisition, goods receipt, payment. Ensure all operations and documentation comply with existing regulations and SOP/WI and negotiates agreements, terms and conditions with suppliers.

2. You will support compliance management, ensure alternate contract terms align with company regulations, local laws (LSTR) and business needs and optimize efficiency through supplier annual review, procurement category management, paperless initiative, and standard contract template implementation, drives continuous improvement and automation via purchasing platforms.

3. You will develop green catalog to simplify RFQ process and answer queries from requesting departments and conduct user training when necessary also identify and implement solutions for inefficiencies or irrationalities in operations.

You will support price and payment term negotiation for requesting departments and document outcomes by reporting, exception management and manage exceptions (special liaison forms, post-order issuance reports) by maintaining ledgers, analyzing root causes, and proposing improvement actions, complete necessary training.

4. You will provide procurement consultation to stakeholders and drive process improvement/automation via procurement platforms (e.g., contracted items, catalog integration).Support strategic procurement with data, price analysis, and report development and complete other tasks delegated by line manager, with clear understanding of functional reporting, dependencies, and accountabilities.

5. You will be assertive, resilient and welcomes change, engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together, proactively contributes to the team, actively committed to teams development, is self-aware and optimistic, shows moral courage, openness and honesty in all dealings, strong ownership of entrusted tasks and can-do attitude and outside the box thinking.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.

2. Ability to orchestrate and coordinate teams across functional areas, business lines, and countries.

3. Strong knowledge/ use of standard office technology landscape Microsoft applications and ERP systems, Supply Chain experience strongly preferred.

4. Ability to lead initiatives and promote acceptance across businesses, functions and countries, good project management skills.

5. Advanced negotiation skills in a challenging, intercultural multi-business environment, with ability to push and negotiate terms & conditions for optimal TCO and alignment with business objectives.

6. Familiar with Legal, Statutory, Tax and Regulatory requirements related to the dimensional scope and an outstanding organizer with ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously in a matrixed environment with high self-sufficiency and minimal need for oversight or direction.

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with all levels (English proficiency). Multi-Lingual (English + Japanese nice to have).
