The Business Operations Manager is a hands-on business operator who partners with the General Manager and leadership team to strengthen business performance, operating discipline, and execution of strategic priorities. The role combines business operations with executive operations by translating data into insights, coordinating leadership operating rhythms, preparing decision-ready materials, and driving follow-through on cross-functional initiatives.
This role owns recurring reporting and selected programs end to end, manages defined workstreams within broader initiatives, and serves as a trusted coordination point across leadership and functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver regular business reporting, translating performance trends and risks into clear, actionable insights
Analyse commercial performance to identify opportunities, challenges, and areas for improvement
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to align KPIs, targets, and performance measures
Ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data and management reporting across the business
Coordinate key business planning and review activities, ensuring clear decisions, ownership, and follow-through
Prepare executive presentations, briefings, and business updates, turning complex information into clear recommendations
Track key priorities, actions, and decisions, ensuring progress, accountability, and visibility across the leadership team
Anticipate the needs of the General Manager and leadership team, connecting stakeholders and highlighting key risks or decisions
Support and lead cross-functional operational and go-to-market initiatives, from planning through to execution
Manage selected projects and workstreams, defining milestones, timelines, dependencies, and measures of success
Monitor progress, risks, and issues, working across teams to maintain momentum and remove barriers
Act as a key link between business leadership and global or functional teams on priority initiatives
Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency
Use business data and stakeholder feedback to recommend practical improvements
Handle sensitive commercial and leadership information with professionalism and discretion.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations, or a related field
5–8 years’ relevant experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, Strategy & Operations, Analytics, Program Management, or a similar field
Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a commercial environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations
Good understanding of commercial performance, KPIs, business planning, and operational processes
Strong project and program management skills, with experience managing priorities, risks, stakeholders, and delivery
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise presentations and executive-level materials
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-moving environment
Confident working with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions, and driving accountability across teams
Strong judgement and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, business intelligence, and project or workflow management tools
A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a practical approach to problem-solving
