This is a business development role for direct team through direct account and affinity source. You will source clientele through networking events and creating a pipeline to close leads. You will also be working with underwriters and operational teams to propose the best deals for the client and the company.
New Business
- To achieve team sales goal and meet growth targets.
- To assist in developing new avenue of business
- To build and develop existing relationship with intermediaries
- To ensure quotations are issued within TAT of 48 hrs.
Business Development
- Organize sales & operations training where required for clients/ intermediaries
- Liaise mainly with internal stakeholders to achieve positive results
- Handle data and system entry for quotations
- Manage sales quotation activities log
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Industry Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Powerpoint Skills
- Certifications/licenses – HI, M5 and M9, M9A, BCP, PGI, Com GI
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skill
- Customer focused
- Good project management and organizational skills
