Über diese Business Analyst (Senior) Stelle bei SumUp
Business Analyst (Senior) – São Paulo, Brazil
We're hiring for several Business Analyst positions across different areas of the business. As you move through the process, we'll work together to understand which team and opportunity are the best fit for your profile and interests.
Team description
SumUp's Business Analyst community turns operational and commercial complexity into decisions that shape how the business grows. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll take ownership of ambiguous, high impact problems, build the frameworks and insights senior stakeholders rely on, and influence decisions across sales, operations and finance. This opening covers five Senior Business Analyst positions across five different teams, each with its own scope and challenges, so there's a strong chance one of them matches the level of ownership you're looking for.
The teams you could join
Here's a short look at each team, so you can see which one resonates most with you.
Sales Channels
Support one of SumUp's sales channels with dashboards, metrics and routines that help leadership track performance and productivity. You'll also work with the People Enablement teams, tracking onboarding success and supporting initiatives that help reduce turnover.
Operations Automation
Help scale automation across SumUp's Americas support operations. You'll identify where automated or AI assisted interactions can replace manual work, partner with engineering and product teams to build these solutions, and help keep quality and trust high as automation grows.
Onboarding and Verification
Improve how merchants are verified across Brazil, Chile and the US. You'll support projects that reduce friction in the onboarding and verification journey, partnering with identity, risk and engineering teams, while keeping an eye on regulatory requirements.
Commercial Planning (Sales and Growth)
Build the forecasting and investment models that guide decisions for our Sales and Growth teams. You'll track performance, develop ways to measure the return on sales investment, and partner with stakeholders across Finance and Sales to improve how we plan and invest.
KYC, Fraud Prevention and Regulatory Operations
Support SumUp's Brazil onboarding operations by strengthening how we manage KYC and fraud prevention. You'll investigate operational data to spot friction points, monitor regulatory requirements from Brazil's Central Bank, and support improvement projects in partnership with Compliance, Risk and Engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Own how business questions are turned into dashboards, models and recommendations that shape strategic decisions
- Lead complex, often ambiguous initiatives end to end, setting direction, managing risk and resolving blockers independently
- Define the standards and frameworks other teams use to measure and report key metrics
- Translate complex technical and business challenges for senior stakeholders, building confidence in data driven decisions
- Influence senior and executive stakeholders, aligning priorities across functions without direct authority
- Identify and prioritise the problems most worth solving, balancing urgent needs with long term impact
You'll be great for this role if
- You have advanced knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Excel or BI platforms like Tableau, with the ability to turn numbers into clear insights;
- You have a track record of leading complex, ambiguous projects end to end, including setting direction, managing dependencies and resolving risk independently;
- You are able to translate business questions into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to non technical audiences
- You feel comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across functions and seniority levels, building trust and alignment along the way
- You are fluent in English and a proactive, analytical mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
