Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Business Analysis & Domain Consulting Lead Associate with 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting or Functional Analysis. The role will elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements while providing domain consulting and functional expertise throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.The position will work with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, architects, developers, testing teams, clients and leadership to translate business needs into practical functional and technical requirements. The role contributes to business objectives by improving process effectiveness, supporting business transformation, enabling informed solution decisions and ensuring that delivered solutions meet approved requirements.

Software Requirements

Required

• JIRA: Practical experience managing requirements, user stories, tasks, defects, workflows and delivery progress using a current project-supported version.
• Confluence: Experience maintaining BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, process documentation, meeting outcomes and knowledge repositories.
• Azure DevOps: Experience managing backlogs, work items, requirements, defects, test activities and delivery status.
• Microsoft Visio: Experience creating process flow diagrams, business process maps, system flows and functional workflows.
• Microsoft Excel: Experience with data analysis, requirement tracking, impact assessments, reporting and reconciliation.
• Power BI: Experience creating or interpreting dashboards, reports, business metrics and management insights.

Business Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, interviews and requirement-gathering sessions with business users and leadership teams.

Domain Consulting

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned domain.
• Provide strategic recommendations and consulting inputs to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze industry trends, business challenges and regulatory requirements to propose effective solutions.
• Support business transformation and digitalization initiatives.
• Assess the impact of changing business, operational and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, architects, developers and testing teams.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, feedback, decisions, dependencies and actions.

Solution Design and Delivery

• Support solution design by providing functional expertise and business insights.

Testing and Implementation

• Support UAT planning, test-case preparation, execution and sign-off.
• Validate test scenarios against business requirements and real-world business processes.

• Support impact analysis for requirement changes and production issues.
• Assist with production deployments and post-implementation reviews.
• Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future delivery.
• Support release readiness by confirming requirements, test outcomes, stakeholder approvals and operational considerations.

• Elicit and analyze requirements, create or update BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows and functional specifications, and maintain requirements traceability.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business users, leadership, product owners, project managers, architects, developers and testing teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog discussions, solution reviews, UAT planning, defect triage, release activities and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field is required or preferred based on applicable experience.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum or SAFe are preferred.
• Practical training or demonstrated experience in Business Analysis, requirements management, process modelling, solution assessment and stakeholder facilitation is required.
• Training in UAT, change management, business transformation, data analysis and applicable industry regulations is preferred.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in domain knowledge, analysis methods, delivery practices, technology trends and regulatory requirements is expected.
