About ACC Launceston
Our Launceston Campus in Tasmania is a K-10 co-ed Christian school. While the school community is still relatively small (120+), the growth over the past five years has been strong and sustained as is the school’s learning environment and culture.
About the role
Our College is excited to be commencing a new school bus service, and we are looking for the right person to help us establish and grow this important service for our families.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver who holds a Medium Rigid (MR) licence, enjoys working with young people and has a heart to serve families within our community.
The successful applicant will value working in a Christian school environment and understand that the bus journey is an important part of each student’s school day. A warm, patient and professional manner, along with a strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing, will be essential.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, values relationships and would like to make a practical and meaningful contribution to our College community.
This part time (40 hours per fortnight, 4 hours per day) is to commence Term 1 2027.
Statement of Commitment to Child Safety
ACC is a child safe organisation which welcomes all children, young people and their families. We are committed to providing environments where our students are safe and feel safe, where their participation is valued, their views respected, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives. Our child safe policies, strategies and practices are inclusive of the needs of all children and students. We have no tolerance for child abuse and take proactive steps to identify and manage any risks of harm to students in our school environments.
