Job Summary:

The Brand Protection Manager drives the success of the programs that protect the Company's brands, reputation, and policies online — including maintaining Brand Registry on marketplace platforms and removing unauthorized sellers when necessary. This role owns the Authorized Online Reseller (AOR) program end-to-end: identifying and resolving unauthorized listings, managing dealer agreements and inquiries, running the marketplace RFP process, and monitoring MAP/AOR compliance. The Brand Protection Manager also oversees the Feedback Monitoring, Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), Do Not Sell, and Brand Protection Legal coordination programs.

The manager develops impactful, easy-to-understand reports and visuals that clearly communicate program goals, activities, and progress to both leadership and cross-department team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, investigate, and catalog unauthorized third-party listings and sellers (ASINs) for company brands (Regal, EZC, Life, Pool Season) across Amazon and other marketplaces, capturing SKU description, ASIN, seller name/address, and fulfillment type (FBA/FBM).
  • Own the end-to-end escalation process for unauthorized listings: initial soft-touch dealer outreach with a defined resolution window, followed by formal escalation letters and marketplace case filings when issues remain unresolved.
  • Draft and manage outreach communications to Field leadership and the Brand Management team regarding unauthorized online activity and program updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer inquiries related to the AOR program.
  • Coordinate end-to-end processes for new AOR applicants and annual renewals; make final decisions for online storefronts (e.g., company “dot coms”) and coordinate with senior management on decisions about online marketplaces.
  • Distribute the Online Authorized Dealer Program agreement to dealers and coordinate with Field/Sales on the distribution process; track execution of agreements and follow up on outstanding or missing agreements with Field and Brand teams.
  • Establish and maintain an accessible, well-organized repository for
  • Manage the marketplace RFP process: distribute RFPs to qualified accounts, evaluate completed submissions, and present recommendations to the Brand Committee for decision.
  • Monitor compliance-tracking platforms (e.g., Trackstreet) for MAP and AOR violations, and recommend and manage the most effective escalation approach.
  • Plan and execute periodic test buys to verify ongoing dealer compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve reports of unauthorized sellers and unauthorized ASINs on marketplaces.
  • Provide regular status reporting to the Brand Committee and Field leadership on program health, and recommend updates to AOR program policy based on marketplace trends and dealer feedback.
  • Serve as the key stakeholder for software and platforms that support the AOR program's monitoring, communications, and reporting.
  • Design and direct processes for monitoring, analyzing, and triaging customer feedback across multiple online channels (e.g., social media, online storefronts/marketplaces, media outlets, and end-user forums).
  • Serve as the key stakeholder for software and platforms that support the FM program's monitoring, communications, and reporting.
  • Design and direct processes that ensure all USD and CAD dealers and resellers use e-commerce in a manner that complies with both offline and online pricing policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external MAP-related communications, including policy updates and dealer notifications.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to ensure MAP policy pricing and product data remain accurate.
  • Serve as the key stakeholder for software and platforms that support the MAP program's monitoring, communications, and reporting.
  • Design and direct processes that temporarily or permanently restrict deauthorized USD and CAD dealers and resellers from acquiring inventory for e-commerce resale.
  • Design, direct, and coordinate processes and budgeting with the legal team to ensure comprehensive, economical, and efficient management of the company's USD and CAD intellectual property (e.g., trademarks and copyrights), as well as AOR and MAP policy enforcement.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce brand protection, channel/dealer management, marketplace operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with online marketplaces and brand-protection or compliance-monitoring tools (e.g., Trackstreet or similar).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting dealer- and leadership-facing communications.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, with the ability to build clear, data-driven reports and visuals for leadership.
  • Comfortable partnering with Legal, Sales, Field, and Product teams on policy enforcement and escalation decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills for maintaining program documentation, agreements, and tracking systems.
