Über diese BCBA Clinical Quality Specialist Stelle bei Finni Health
About Finni Health
Finni Health helps BCBAs go independent. We provide the infrastructure they need to start, run, and grow their own autism practices — including credentialing, payer contracting, revenue cycle management, HR, compliance, and purpose-built software.
We work alongside practice owners so they can spend less time fighting the operational complexity of running a healthcare business and more time building great teams and delivering care.
We're a fast-growing company backed by Y Combinator and General Catalyst, supporting 70+ BCBA-led practices across 22+ states and continuing to expand.
We're building the infrastructure behind the next generation of autism care — and we're looking for people who want to help build it with us.
Role Overview
The Clinical Quality Specialist translates identified needs into training, resources, processes, and improvements that directly enhance the platform, provider skills, and uphold clinical quality across practices. This role starts by owning record reviews and audits (today largely manual), partners with Product and Engineering to automate and improve functions, and ensure that tools and workflows support clinicians and high-quality care. The role evolves into a project-driven clinical partner who supports clinical and clinical operations projects as they arise, with focuses such as onboarding & training, supervision, professional development, clinical quality, consultation, and continuous improvement alongside the Clinical Success Manager.
Your first assignment is maintaining and auditing our clinical record systems.
A clinical record that hasn't been reviewed is a compliance risk nobody's caught yet. Right now, record reviews and audits happen manually, and there's no system tracking what's been checked, what's missing, or where the gaps are. That's the gap this assignment closes.
Expect this to take about 3-6 months for completion. What we need built:
Manual record reviews, done reliably. Own the audit and record request process today while the automated version gets built underneath it.
A documented SOP. Understand the current process end to end and write it down: who does what, how a review actually gets completed, where it breaks.
Automation opportunities identified and pursued. Flag where the manual process can be systematized, and work with Product and Engineering to actually get it built.
An internal auditing dashboard. As pieces get automated, build the reporting that shows what's been reviewed, what's outstanding, and related needs. Consider how we merge email and direct message requests with those in the compliance summary.
30–50% of your time is this to start. The remaining time goes to clinical projects: developing new clinical resources, professional development and training, maintaining what's already in place, and filling gaps as they surface, chosen with the Clinical Success Manager based on what's needed most. As the audit process becomes more automated, that split shifts: this becomes less of your time, and clinical and clinical operations initiatives become more, eventually up to 90%.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Record Review & Auditing
Own record reviews and audit/record requests, manually at first.
Document the current process as a living SOP the team actually uses.
Identify where reviews can be automated and partner with Product/Engineering to build it.
Once automated, build and maintain an internal dashboard tracking review status and gaps.
2. Clinical Projects: Develop, Maintain, Fill Gaps
Work through an ongoing slate of clinical projects chosen with the Clinical Success Manager developing new resources and processes, maintaining existing ones, and closing gaps as they're identified.
Take a project from rough idea to fully in place: help shape the design, then own execution, rollout with practices, and continuous monitoring.
As audit work shrinks, this becomes the larger share of the role.
3. Product & Engineering Partnership
Serve as the clinical voice on automating the audit/record review process by translating the manual workflow into requirements, testing the build, and confirming it solves the problem.
Monitor clinician feedback on any tools built and feed it back to Product and Engineering.
Support the development of clinical functions in Mission Control and Orbit.
Additional Responsibilities as the Role Evolves
4. Clinical Support & Consultation
Partner with the Clinical Success Manager to support clinicians with treatment planning, complex cases, and clinical decision-making.
Identify recurring clinical support needs and turn them into training, resources, or process improvements.
5. Training & Professional Development
As audit work becomes automated, take on a growing share of training and development work: resources and training that support BCBA and RBT competency, and ongoing professional development.
Use quality and audit data to identify training priorities.
6. Clinical Quality & Continuous Improvement
Partner with Clinical Success and Practice Support to monitor clinical quality and drive improvement using audit data, dashboards, and clinician feedback.
Identify trends and gaps in documentation, treatment integrity, and clinical competency, and turn them into training or process fixes.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days: You can explain the current record review/audit process end to end and have a plan for the SOP.
First 60 days: The SOP is written and in use. You've identified concrete automation opportunities and are working with Product/Engineering on the first one. You've picked up your first clinical project.
First 6 months: Manual review time is measurably down. Automation is in place for at least part of the process, and an internal dashboard shows review status. You're already spending meaningful time on clinical projects, support, and training work.
Beyond: The audit process runs largely on its own, monitored through the dashboard. Your time is now mostly supporting clinical and clinical operations initiatives.
About You
You are a BCBA with 5+ years of clinical experience, ideally including direct oversight of RBTs and clinical supervision of other BCBAs.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders, with proven ability to work across internal teams and with external stakeholders. Most of what this role produces is written and built so teams can actually use it.
Clinical Enablement & Systems Design: Proven ability to build training, resources, and frameworks tailored to Finni’s unique model. Because our practice owners hold clinical autonomy and are not our employees, you are not managing them; instead, you are empowering them. You will design the training, supports, and systems that help them maintain high clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and ethical practices.
Clinical Judgment: Strong grounding in clinical record standards, documentation, and quality. Comfortable both doing the manual review work and designing the system that replaces it.
Proficiency: Proficient in Clinical Standards, Google, Messaging systems, EHR, dashboard and data analysis.
Mission Alignment: Passion for the mission of supporting quality autism care and empowering independent providers to run strong, compliant, and ethically sound practices.
Adaptability and Agility: Thrives in a fast-paced, fluid environment where the frameworks and protocols haven't been fully written yet, because you are a contributor toward their development. You are comfortable owning a manual, unglamorous process today with the explicit goal of automating yourself out of it and growing into a broader clinical development role as that happens.
