Your Role as a Baker

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality bread and pastries from scratch every morning. You’ll work alongside a friendly team, ensuring that our bakery is always stocked with delicious products for our loyal customers. This is a great chance to develop your baking skills in a positive and rewarding environment, whether you have experience or are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes to produce a variety of baked goods
• Utilize baking equipment and manage the baking process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience
• Support team members to ensure a productive work environment

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and a passion for baking
• Ability to work morning shifts, as early as 4 AM
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently
• No prior baking experience is required; we will train the right candidates!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting and carrying of ingredients and products up to 50 lbs
• Using hands for repetitive tasks, including mixing and shaping dough
• Occasional bending and reaching required
