We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team and help build scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with collaboration from our office in Plovdiv.

You will work in a modern development environment where AI tools (such as Copilot, Claude, etc.) are part of the daily workflow, enabling faster and smarter development. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and is passionate about solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Debug, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of applications
• Work with databases and cloud-based environments
• Actively use AI tools to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer

• Strong skills in Java and/or Python
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Experience with cloud platforms is considered a strong advantage
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ownership mindset and ability to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Good communication skills and team collaboration
• Well-organized and structured way of working (strong advantage)
