Four Seasons Nashville is seeking a Cook 1 to join our talented Culinary team. In this role, you will support the preparation and execution of high-quality food offerings while maintaining the exceptional standards of service, quality, and hospitality that define the Four Seasons experience.
What you will do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain consistency and quality in food preparation across all meal periods.
- Complete daily mise en place and ensure stations are fully stocked and organized for service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following departmental procedures.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage practices in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory control, minimizing waste and supporting food cost objectives.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Collaborate with chefs and team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Support other culinary functions and special projects as assigned.
What you bring
- Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred.
- 3-5 years of culinary or related professional kitchen experience.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
