Scope of Position
This analytical and detail-oriented individual, as part of the Corporate Marketing E-Commerce team, will support the ongoing management, performance measurement, and optimization of Watts' direct-to-consumer e-commerce websites. The intern will gain hands-on experience in e-commerce analytics, website content management, online merchandising, and customer experience optimization while assisting the team with daily website operations and reporting activities.
This position is not responsible for supervision of others.
This position reports to the Manager, B2C E-Commerce.
This role is remote based in the US.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on key e-commerce performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rate, revenue, average order value, product performance, and customer purchase behavior.
- Maintain recurring performance reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Analyze website, product, and category performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support basic on-page SEO activities, including page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal linking, and content quality reviews.
- Support day-to-day management of e-commerce website content, including product pages, descriptions, specifications, digital assets, promotions, and navigation updates.
- Conduct website audits to identify missing, inaccurate, outdated, or inconsistent content and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with product launches, promotional updates, website merchandising activities, and content management initiatives.
- Test website functionality and customer experience elements, including search, navigation, checkout, and promotional content.
- Support website optimization initiatives through analysis, testing, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct customer journey reviews and identify opportunities to improve the online shopping experience.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar analytical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in e-commerce, analytics, and digital customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) or other web analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or content management systems (CMS).
- Experience using PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and basic data analysis techniques.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce KPIs and website performance measurement.
- Experience maintaining or updating website content.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools. Basic familiarity with QA/UAT, A/B testing, or conversion rate optimization is a plus.
