As an AWS Migration Specialist - Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming client environments by migrating their systems to AWS, leveraging your expertise in software engineering and product innovation. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through complex migration processes, confirming seamless transitions and optimized solutions tailored to their unique needs.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, driving strategic planning, and managing client accounts. You will take ownership of projects, confirming successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver quality results, while your business acumen will help identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. You will articulate our purpose and values with integrity and authenticity, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional client service, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and cultivate meaningful client relationships will be key to driving success in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Leading the migration of applications to AWS, confirming seamless integration and minimal disruption
- Managing client relationships and expectations throughout the migration process
- Overseeing the development and implementation of software engineering solutions using C#.NET, Java, and Python
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables
- Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software deployment efficiency
- Conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards to maintain software quality
- Utilizing microservices architecture to design scalable and flexible software solutions
- Facilitating business process improvement through effective requirements analysis and solution architecture
- Mentoring junior team members in software development methodologies and best practices
- Promoting the adoption of innovative technologies and practices within the team
- Validating data integrity and security within software applications
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to maintain system reliability

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud infrastructure.

- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in migration or transformation.

- Deep expertise in cloud migration strategies, wave planning, and execution at scale.

- Extensive experience with AWS MGN, AWS Transform (agentic rehost), DMS (AI-assisted schema conversion), SCT, and Migration Hub.

- Proven experience migrating from diverse sources (physical, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, GCP) with minimal downtime.

- Proven experience in application refactoring and cloud-native redesign.

- Expert-level database migration skills including complex heterogeneous schema transformations (Oracle/SQL Server to Aurora/PostgreSQL).

- Deep experience with API integration testing and post-migration validation.

- Strong backend development experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or equivalent.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices.

- Strong understanding of application security, IAM, and cloud governance
