  • Configure and support SAP monitoring—including system health, performance checks, background job monitoring, alerting, and automation policies.
  • Monitor Avantra system performance, availability, logs, alerts, and automation jobs; troubleshoot failures and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Maintain connectors, service accounts, agents, credentials, and secure access mechanisms across SAP and non‑SAP landscapes.
  • Develop and enforce governance standards for monitoring templates, alert thresholds, naming conventions, documentation, credential handling, and version control.
  • Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to meet audit, backup, recovery, compliance, and continuity requirements.
  • Support migration of monitoring and automation configurations between development, test, and production environments.
  • Create and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, support guides, and technical documentation.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Avantra-related incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
  • Support license administration and usage tracking for Avantra platform components.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, infrastructure, and application teams to troubleshoot monitoring gaps, alerting issues, performance concerns, and platform execution problems.
  • Recommend platform improvements that enhance scalability, reliability, automation maturity, and operational visibility.
  • Participate in release planning, testing, and change management processes.
  • Support audit, reporting, and governance requirements for SAP monitoring and automated operational workflows.
  • Provide end‑user and administrator training on dashboards, alerting, reporting, scheduling, and best practices.
  • Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and platform enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to meet DoD 8140 requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
