A Snapshot
As the Associate Vice President, Commercial based in Singapore, you will report to the Vice President, Investment, leading a high performing team and working closely with senior stakeholders across AirTrunk, its customers and other partners.
Your Day to Day
- Lead commercial parameter setting for customer opportunities under various commercial models (colocation, built-to-suit or alternative structures)
- Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success and Customer Solutions teams to negotiate and implement commercial proposals with hyperscale customers
- Develop strategic relationships with C-suite, other senior leadership and AirTrunk’s investors to support execution of commercial opportunities
- Identify and manage commercial opportunities with potential partners to develop new large scale projects (real estate, renewables or energy providers)
- Help lead market expansion initiatives, including new market entry activities across greenfield, JVs, co-investment etc
- Actively manage existing and new opportunities, making sure customers’ expectations are met or exceeded, driving cross functional teams to deliver high quality responses
- Lead market intelligence initiatives, including the management of internal intelligence and distribution to relevant stakeholders internally and with AirTrunk’s investors
- Manage a high-performing team (all based in Singapore)
- Attendance at industry events or conferences, with regular reporting on competition, customer and industry trends (supply/demand dynamics, pricing, new expansions/developments)
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating customer contracts and/or real estate agreements with strong influencing skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with track record of influencing senior decision makers
- Demonstrated understanding of data centre sector and/or commercial real estate
- Demonstrated experience of managing direct reports and leading cross functional teams
- Ability to identify, simplify and solve complex business issues, working alongside a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Preference for candidates that are organized, adaptable and experienced to lead projects under time pressure, across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
