About the Role
As an Associate I in Production Operations, you will support the accurate and timely processing of customer payments. You will perform data capture, data entry, manual batching and exception-processing activities. Success requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency and the flexibility to adjust priorities based on processing deadlines.
Schedule
This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What You Will Be Doing
• Perform exception processing, including data capture, data entry and manual batching before capture.
• Review exception pulls for derogatory, non-processing or otherwise non-processable items.
• Print and use system reports to locate and retrieve derogatory items.
• Sort capture batches and remove items requiring additional verification.
• Verify non-processable items and determine whether they should be returned or reprocessed.
• Navigate payment-processing systems accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks and changing work priorities.
• Complete assigned work according to established processing deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and provide operational assistance when needed.
• Follow documented procedures to support consistent payment-processing quality.
Required Qualifications
• Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple system screens comfortably.
• Accurate data-entry, data-capture and information-verification skills.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing reports, batches and exception items.
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to follow documented processes and make accurate item-disposition decisions.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to adjust assignments based on workload and processing deadlines.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in payment processing, transaction processing or production operations.
• Experience performing exception processing, document sorting or manual batching.
• Familiarity with system-generated reports and data-quality verification.
• Experience working in a deadline-driven, team-based operations environment.
