About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Data Scientist to join RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will apply advanced analytics methods to solve business problems, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business units to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and contribute to the development of future analytics capabilities.

What you will be doing

• Assess applicability of advanced analytics methods for business topics.

• Build methodologies and conduct advanced analytics to address business problems.

• Generate actionable business insights from analytics outputs.

• Execute advanced analytics projects and provide ad hoc analyses to business units.

• Pilot advanced analytics methods, tools, and platforms.

• Design, develop, and execute analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods to solve business requirements.

• Ensure timely delivery of analysis and proactively manage delays or issues.

• Maintain high quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

• Support business continuity of analytics deliverables.

• Understand the implications of advanced analytics methodologies and assist in defining solutions for future business needs.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Strong communication skills with effective writing and presentation abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or SQL.

• SAS programming skills are a plus.

• Experience with Dataiku Data Science Workbench is an advantage.
