General Department Description

Global Transaction Banking Division Americas provides transaction banking solutions across payments and collections, cash and liquidity management, trade finance, supply chain finance, commercial card, receivables finance, and related treasury capabilities. The division serves corporate clients across the Americas and works closely with Coverage, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Mizuho’s global network.

Summary

The Associate, Cash Channel Product Management supports the Americas cash-management channel portfolio through product analysis, reporting, documentation, testing, implementation readiness, and cross-functional coordination. The role supports digital-banking and connectivity capabilities, including host-to-host connectivity, APIs, secure file transmission, information reporting, and ISO 20022-related analysis. The Associate maintains accurate product and control records, tracks roadmap and strategic actions, prepares client and sales materials, and contributes to strategic transformation initiatives and cross-functional assignments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Channel Product Analysis and Reporting: Prepare portfolio, client, usage, market, competitor, and performance analyses for assigned digital-banking, connectivity, and information-reporting capabilities.
• Requirements and Delivery Support: Support business-requirement documentation, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, release readiness, implementation readiness, and post-launch monitoring for assigned enhancements and releases.
• Connectivity and Standards Support: Assist with analysis and documentation for host-to-host connectivity, APIs, secure file transmission, information reporting, and ISO 20022-related changes.
• Roadmap and Action Tracking: Maintain roadmap milestones, dependencies, action logs, decisions, and status reporting, and escalate delivery risks or workload conflicts promptly.
• Client and Sales Materials: Prepare presentations, product materials, meeting briefs, RFP inputs, implementation references, and follow-up actions for client opportunities and internal reviews.
• Documentation, Data Quality, and Controls: Maintain product documentation, inventories, risk and control records, approvals, and supporting evidence, and perform assigned reconciliations and quality checks.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate assigned actions across Product, Sales, Client Experience, Implementation, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and global stakeholders.
• Strategic Contribution: Support strategic transformation initiatives and complete a balanced mix of analytical, product, client, and project assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education required.
• Professional Experience: Two to five years of relevant experience in cash management, digital banking, treasury services, payments, connectivity, information reporting, product management, or a related financial-services function.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of corporate digital channels, host-to-host connectivity, APIs, secure file transmission, information reporting, ISO 20022, business requirements, testing, implementation, product documentation, and operational controls.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, communication, stakeholder-management, and execution skills.
• Language: English and Japanese required.
• Travel: Ability to travel as required based on client, business, and stakeholder needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting digital-channel, connectivity, information-reporting, ISO 20022, or platform-delivery work in a global bank; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with structured testing, requirements, data-quality controls, and cross-functional project coordination; and relevant professional certification.

Work Location

In-office presence is an essential function of this role, and this role requires work from the office five days per week. Remote work may be used on an as-needed and ad hoc basis in accordance with applicable Banking policies.

The expected base salary ranges from $93,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
