About the role:

The Associate Branch Manager supports the overall success of the branch through individual sales production and day-to-day leadership support. This role is responsible for achieving individual lending and optional product sales targets through active management of customer opportunities, while supporting the Branch Manager in coaching team members, overseeing daily operations, and assisting with branch execution.

A regular day for you will include:

Individual Sales & Business Development:

• Achieve individual lending and optional product sales targets by managing customer opportunities from application through closing.
• Support branch growth through customer acquisition, retention, referral generation, and strong customer relationship management. Contribute to branch sales and profitability objectives, while the Branch Manager remains accountable for overall branch sales and profitability results.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring clients' needs are met promptly and professionally, while supporting the resolution of customer concerns and escalations

Day-to-Day Coaching & Team Development:

• While the Branch Manager remains accountable for hiring, performance management, and employee development, the Associate Branch Manager provides day-to-day coaching, operational support, and development guidance to Lending Specialists and branch team members.
• Support the Branch Manager with onboarding, ongoing development, and branch training initiatives, and reinforce a culture of accountability, performance, and customer focus.
• Provide observations and coaching feedback to the Branch Manager to support employee development and formal performance discussions.

Daily Operations, Compliance & Decision Support:

• Coordinate daily branch operations, service priorities, and workload distribution to support productivity and customer service objectives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and privacy standards while maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.
• Support audit readiness, operational excellence initiatives, and the implementation of approved process improvements.
• Resolve routine operational issues and customer matters using approved procedures and decision limits.
• Escalate policy exceptions, approval requests outside delegated limits, material operational issues, and unresolved customer concerns to the Branch Manager.
• In the Branch Manager's absence, act as the branch lead within the authority delegated by the Branch Manager and in accordance with established company policies.
• As a branch leadership role, the Associate Branch Manager is expected to maintain flexibility in work schedules to support team coverage, operational needs, and branch performance across operating hours. Details regarding scheduling and coverage expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

What we are looking for:

• College diploma preferred; business-related education considered an asset.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial services, sales, lending or customer-facing roles. Previous leadership, coaching or supervisory experience preferred.

What you can expect - pay & process:

• Expected base salary range is $61,000-69,200$
