What you’ll do

In this role you will:

• Advise on both borrower and lender side transactions, taking responsibility for matters from inception to completion, including structuring, scoping and client engagement.
• Work across a broad range of finance matters including acquisition finance, real estate finance, clearing bank panel transactions, management buyouts, private equity transactions and restructurings.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and delivering practical, solutions-focused advice.
• Take an active role in business development, networking and strengthening client relationships, supported by an experienced and well-connected team.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice, helping to identify opportunities, share market intelligence and create value for clients and colleagues.
• Develop both your technical expertise and your profile in the market, with genuine opportunities for progression and increased responsibility.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and

• 4+ years' PQE in Banking & Finance, with experience managing transactions and direct client relationships.
• Ambitious and keen to accelerate your development through greater responsibility, client exposure and autonomy.
• Commercially aware and interested in how legal relationships translate into long-term client opportunities.
• Proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved wherever needed, whether that is delivering transactions, supporting colleagues, developing client relationships or contributing to wider team initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Solution-focused, pragmatic and committed to delivering an outstanding client experience.
• Enthusiastic about networking, business development and helping grow both your own practice and the wider firm.
