The Role

The Custody Operations Associate (Night Shift) is responsible for supporting the safe, accurate, and timely execution of digital asset custody operations. This role performs critical operational activities including digital asset transfers, reconciliations, transaction monitoring, exception management, and operational controls to ensure the integrity of client assets and Fidelity Digital Assets' custody platform. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, risk management, and client service standards during overnight trading and custody support hours.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-4 years of experience within financial services, operations, custody, asset servicing, brokerage, fintech, or digital assets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overnight and weekend schedules as required.
• Experience supporting custody, settlements, reconciliations, or asset servicing functions.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset markets.
• Familiarity with operational risk and control frameworks
• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.
• Understanding of institutional digital asset custody services.

Our primary responsibilities include processing client cryptocurrency and USD transactions, settling with Fidelity Digital Assets’ counterparties and reconciliation of various systems. Members of our team are detail-oriented, have a drive for innovation and range of backgrounds with a passion for digital assets, markets and financial services products.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
