We’re looking for an Assistant Sales Manager, Partner Channel to join our ever-evolving Partner Channel Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our partner ecosystem, driving merchant acquisition, and creating growth opportunities that deliver meaningful business outcomes. By building strategic partner relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring a seamless merchant onboarding experience, you'll directly contribute to client success and business growth. Working closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Implementation teams, you'll help strengthen our market presence, accelerate partner performance, and support Global Payments’ mission of enabling businesses to grow through innovative payment solutions and seamless commerce experiences.

What you'll own

• Drive partner portfolio growth by developing high-performing channel partnerships that increase merchant acquisition, expand revenue opportunities, and support business growth objectives.

• Create new market opportunities by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding strategic channel partners that strengthen our distribution network and accelerate market penetration.

• Influence partner success and performance through regular business reviews, actionable insights, and growth strategies that improve sales results and deepen engagement.

• Deliver exceptional onboarding outcomes by coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure merchants are onboarded efficiently, service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved, and client expectations are exceeded.

• Champion commercial excellence by developing competitive proposals, pricing strategies, and business recommendations that drive successful negotiations and sustainable revenue growth.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in sales, business development, channel management, partnership management, or a related commercial role with a track record of achieving growth objectives.

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence partners and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

• Commercial acumen with experience developing business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and delivering value-driven solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and recommend actions that drive results.

• Self-motivated and adaptable mindset with the ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience in merchant acquiring, payment solutions, fintech, or financial services industries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for business analysis, presentations, and forecasting.

• Additional language capabilities, including Mandarin, that support engagement with a broader partner network.
