RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Human Resource support to Distribution Center employees
• Support hourly full cycle recruitment/interview/on-boarding process
• Partner with Payroll to manage weekly time sheets and reporting in Kronos
• Manage the Attendance and Recognition Program
• Manage benefits open enrollment meetings with guidance of HR Manager
• Process worker's compensation claims through our third-party vendor
• Prioritize safety for all associates through our safety program

• Manage the Five Below background check process for the Distribution Center
• Oversee Distribution Center access to Kronos
• Maintain accurate and consistent employee and other related HR files.
• Answer general employee questions regarding benefit plans and eligibility guidelines.
• Handle and/or direct employee inquiries regarding various company policies.
• Assist with special projects as assigned and provide general support to HR Manager/General Manager and team.
• Assist HR team with building events and associate recognition programs
• Maintain and update building communication channels and board with relevant current events and postings
• Assist in tracking organizational training and development efforts
• Ensure timely paperwork processing
• Process worker's compensation claims through our third-party vendor
• Manage Distribution Center lobby area 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Human Resources experience, with progressive recruiting responsibilities.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
• Clear communication and professional interpersonal skills, with an innovative and proactive spirit that adapts quickly to a distribution environment.
• Ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
• Bilingual – Spanish **Not required but a plus
