Role: Assistant Finance Manager – Finance & Accounting

Location: Bangalore

Reports to: Finance Controller

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for handling and managing the entire accounting department and accounting controlling process.

Key Responsibilities include:

Closing of monthly books of accounts for Business Division and preparing necessary schedules and reconciliations.

Leading and Managing GL and AP Teams.

Monitoring and Controlling Operating Expenses.

Reporting the numbers to headquarters in a pre-defined format with utmost accuracy.

Monthly review of the P/L and Balance Sheet with the relevant team.

Handling Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Statutory Audit

Handling the Annual Balance Sheet Reviews

To drive policies and suggest process improvements.

Monitoring Internal controls and ensuring the controls are in place and effective.

Ensuring physical verifications of inventory and other fixed assets

Drive Collection team for efficient Accounts Receivable Management.

Closely working with Finance Controller in Annual Budgeting and Forecasting.

Key Skill Sets:

Strong GL Accounting and financial Reporting knowledge.

Good understanding of India GAAPs and ICFR Requirements.

Strong understanding of GST structure and mechanism.

Strong MS Excel knowledge.

Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be added advantage.

Good commercial sense and business understanding.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead the team.

Qualifications and Experience

Chartered Accountant.

Minimum 5-7 years of total experience in Industry.

Strong written and verbal communication Skills

Experience of working in a Multi-National Organisation

High levels of personal organisation; Attention to details.

Ability to work under own initiative and under stretched targets.
