Über diese Assessment Content Product Manager, Reach Stelle bei Riverside Insights

Riverside Insights · Remote · United States

As the Assessment Content Product Manager, Reach, you will own the assessment strategy behind how Riverside identifies student potential and places students in the right program — setting and driving the content roadmap for CogAT, the Iowa Assessments, easyCBM, IAAT/GMRT, and the next generation of measures that will define the Potential & Placement portfolio.

You'll report to the Senior Director of Product, partnering closely with the Reach engineering team, the Research team, and the author groups behind CogAT, Iowa, and easyCBM. This is a strategy-and-execution role: you'll scan the market for new ways to measure student potential, build the roadmap and business case for what's next, and then stay hands-on through requirements, build oversight, and launch.

You'll own this strategy end to end — from identifying what belongs on the roadmap, to building the case for it, to making sure every assessment we ship works for the students and educators who rely on it. If you want to define how an entire market identifies and places student potential, this is that role.

Requirements

Role Summary and Responsibilities

  • Own and sequence the 24-month content roadmap for the Potential & Placement portfolio
  • Lead discovery and blueprint strategy for the Iowa Assessments and other portfolio product lines
  • Investigate emerging placement measures and build business cases for new roadmap additions
  • Partner with Platform Product Management team to define requirements for every new content integration
  • Oversee CogAT assessment build execution and new-version product launch materials
  • Maintain product documentation accuracy and review customer-facing messaging
  • Own the QA/UAT process for every new content integration
  • Serve as product owner for content workstreams in sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Manage relationships and thought leadership with the CogAT, Iowa, and easyCBM author groups
  • Partner with Research, Reach, and Product leadership on content and platform requirements and feed customer insights directly into broader Reach build and roadmap
  • Monitor usage data and compile customer findings to define existing and new product use cases

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of product management experience in assessment, K-12 education, or another content-driven or regulated space
  • Has worked as a K-12 district / school coordinator or administrator
  • Has taken a content roadmap from market discovery through business case, execution, and launch
  • Manages external author or partner relationships and translates subject-matter expertise into product requirements
  • Owns content and documentation QA, ensuring accuracy and compliance before customer-facing release
  • Builds and presents business cases and roadmap recommendations to senior leadership
  • Communicates clearly and persuasively, in writing and verbally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Has directly made assessment and/or student placement decisions in a K-12 district or school setting
  • Understands psychometric or assessment design principles — norming, scoring, administration fidelity
  • Has developed new measures or products from market discovery through business case
  • Understands FERPA, COPPA, or other student-data compliance considerations
  • Presents to and earns buy-in from senior leadership
