Associate Assembler - 1st Shift

As an Assembler with our Central Manufacturing team, you will work as part of a team to perform a variety of tasks using standard processes, documentation, systems, and tools to assemble sub-assemblies and finished goods to meet internal and external customer demands.
- Work independently alongside team members to assemble finished products and subassemblies
- Independently troubleshoot errors or failures
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Participate in Lean initiatives, completing tasks as assigned
- Use established quality specifications to assemble products in compliance with standards to ensure product integrity and meet customer expectations
- Follow replenishment system standards and practices to maintain efficient material flow that promotes schedule attainment in a JIT environment
- Identify and communicate any low inventory levels or discrepancies
- Participate in training to support standard work in assembly, quality, continuous improvement and replenishment systems to maintain operational excellence
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years or older
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and standard work documents
- Ability to work independently alongside team members to build sub-assemblies and finished goods
- Ability to independently troubleshoot errors or failures
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Excitement about working with a team and within our collaborative ownership culture
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work with required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Standing for extended periods - 8-hour shifts
- Control handheld power tools
- Requires manual dexterity and repetitive motion activities
