About the Job

ASIA Manager – Delivery Excellence is primarily responsible for driving organizational improvement in Project Delivery.  This includes demonstrating leadership by example of best practice project delivery, development of improved project delivery systems and setting projects up for success through bids and launch support.

The incumbent is to support project delivery improvement and achieve improved business performance. In addition, the incumbent will support business case development and subsequently lead project teams on approved internal projects to improve project delivery outcomes.

The incumbent will role model SJ values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.

Reporting Relationships:

Manager(s): Director, Major Projects, Transport, Global

Direct Report(s): Supervision of specific project teams

Key Accountabilities:

Identify, scope and deliver project management and delivery transformation and change initiatives for projects across ASIA transport projects. Support business case development and lead project teams on approved internal projects. Coach and train Project Managers to utilise best-in-class project delivery processes and drive overall efficiency and business performance. Provide leadership to employees on the project to ensure project team cohesion and  optimal performance. Lead the business development and delivery of programs and projects of strategic importance to support SJ’s vision and value.
