About the role:
Lead and manage a team of account managers and support engineers to implement and achieve the Australian sales plan in the safest and most cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for:
Leads and is accountable for overall sales team performance against plan
- Prospect Interface (Selling and Closing New Business)
- Pricing and Proposal Reviewer / Approver
- Responsibility for achieving GP target
Facilitates team development as needed to achieve high performance
- Training and Change Management (Mentoring, Conflict Resolution, Skills Development)
- Building Team Culture (Building Trust)
- Performance Management (Personnel Reviews)
Coordinates local execution as needed in support of Area and District, Regional, and Global Strategies
- Conduct for information to and from then Commercial Lead
Monitors Customer Satisfaction to ensure account retention
- Customer Interface (Account Retention and Grow Share of Wallet)
- Corporate account responsibility
- Develops and executes program trials and ROI Projects at prospect and customer sites
Facilitates team response to problems, opportunities and profitability goals
What you need to be successful:
- Water treatment experience – desirable (5 years)
- Previous experience in the mining sector – desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound computer skills using Microsoft Office programs and customer databases
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
- Degree qualified in either Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Current Australian Driver’s License
