Area Account Manager Region South– DePuy Synthes Trauma

DePuy Synthes Trauma is a global market leader within the orthopaedic trauma segment.     To maintain and develop our position further we are now recruiting an Area Account Manager for DePuy Synthes Trauma in Region South in Sweden to bring this business to the next level.

As Area Account Manager, you are responsible for your territory and you will be in close contact with your customers, doctors, nurses, other stakeholders and colleagues.

You strive for new ways to grow the business and take care of your customers.

 

Objectives of the Position

• Responsible and accountable for the overall business performance in your territory.
• Establish and execute sales strategies to achieve the budget in your territory.
• Make strong relationships with your customers.
• You will train and educate the users in product related matters, attend surgeries and keep an overall professional service level to the customers.
• Continue to develop the existing business and identify new possibilities within your territory.

 

Qualifications

• Driving license (requirement)
• Post-Secondary education (eftergymnasial utbildning) is a requirement.
• Experience of medical sales, orthopaedics, operating room, hospital/medical background or background in the medical device industry are preferred.
• Preferred to live in the area of your business, Skåne, Halland, Småland, Blekinge.
• Knowledge about orthopaedics is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both in writing and the spoken language.
• You have a high level of social skills and are communicative.
• Self going but also team oriented
• You have a positive, curious and brave personality.

What you will need to succeed 

We are looking for a highly motivated, goal oriented and structured person with great ability to prioritize and make things happen. You share our passion for patient care and meeting customer needs. The candidate must be able to act with short notice and handle several parallel ongoing customer activities. You will join a team with highly experienced colleagues and will have high impact in shaping the trauma business in your district with support from the team. We provide You with a comprehensive training in Trauma our products and systems. 

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company,operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that,

following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by

DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
