About the Role
Join Accenture’s Technology team as an Application Support Engineer, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the performance, stability, and reliability of enterprise applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex technology environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives that drive business value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and system issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Monitor application health, system performance, and operational metrics to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to diagnose issues and support application enhancements.
• Execute application remediation activities, including defect fixes, configuration updates, and performance improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing enhancements to support processes and operational procedures.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and support knowledge to improve team effectiveness and service delivery.
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application support, production support, or IT operations roles.
• Strong expertise in application remediation, incident management, and problem resolution.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications across multiple technology platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting critical business applications in a production environment.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Understanding of system integration, application performance monitoring, and operational best practices
