Über diese Analyst - Online Gender-Based Violence Prevention Stelle bei Moonshot
Do you have a genuine interest in working for an organisation tackling online harms - from gender-based violence and disinformation to violent extremism? Have you worked on gender-based violence prevention, supported the running of safeguarding campaigns or carried out social media analysis in online safety, or a related sector, and want to take your experience further?
Moonshot is recruiting an Analyst to join our Online Violence Prevention Team (OVP) and to help deliver international prevention programmes. You will support the delivery of a programme tackling gender-based violence through digital campaigns that reach people encountering and engaging with harmful or misogynistic content online. You will contribute to the set-up and design of digital campaigns across multiple platforms and help track campaign performance to identify lessons for future programme design. Alongside this, you will support day-to-day project coordination, including maintaining project documentation, tracking tasks and deadlines, and budget management.
Moonshot’s OVP team delivers an evidence-based model that connects people to resources, services and accurate information early and efficiently, meeting them online where harmful content is encountered and harmful narratives can be reinforced. Our OVP model offers a safety net to anyone affected by exposure to harmful content online, without judgement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project delivery: Contributing to OVP project work as part of a team.
- Campaign audience identification: Sourcing, interpreting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data, including social media metrics, and data gathered by our in-house specialist software, under manager supervision, to support the identification of target audiences and contribute to behavioural insights.
- Campaign design and build: Supporting the design and build of digital campaign content and tactics that engage identified target audiences, often in multiple languages.
- Campaign delivery and optimisation: Delivering digital campaigns, monitoring performance and contributing to the optimisation of campaign tactics, with guidance from more senior colleagues.
- Research and reporting: Supporting the implementation of research methodologies and contributing to the drafting of reports and deliverables.
- Monitoring and evaluation: Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of project activity, collecting and analysing performance data to help assess impact.
- Capacity building: Supporting capacity-building activities for partners and practitioners, such as preparing materials and assisting with training delivery.
- Ethics and safeguarding: Applying Moonshot’s ethical and safeguarding frameworks in all project work, and raising any concerns promptly with your manager.
- Client communication: Supporting client communication and, with support, presenting project information to external stakeholders, following Moonshot’s communications principles.
- Project coordination: Supporting day-to-day project coordination, including scheduling, tracking tasks and deadlines, and maintaining project documentation.
- Budget monitoring: Supporting project budget tracking in consultation with project managers and the finance team, for example tracking expenditure and reviewing supplier invoices.
- Contracts and suppliers: Supporting the drafting, review and issuance of contracts for consultants, suppliers and project partners.
- Professional development: Developing subject matter expertise in online harms, online gender-based violence and technical skills through training, mentorship and independent research, and supporting innovative approaches to project work.
