This position contributes to successful program execution by improving operational responsiveness, sustaining distributed operations, and enabling Joint and Special Operations Forces throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate air mobility and airlift plans supporting strategic, operational, and tactical logistics missions.

  • Coordinate the movement of personnel, equipment, cargo, and sustainment resources utilizing military and commercial airlift assets.

  • Coordinate with airfield operations personnel, aerial port organizations, logistics planners, and movement control teams to synchronize air operations.

  • Monitor airlift execution and adjust transportation plans to accommodate operational changes, weather impacts, aircraft availability, and mission priorities.

  • Prepare air mobility reports, transportation status updates, operational assessments, and executive-level briefings for Government leadership.

  • Analyze transportation capacity, throughput, and routing options while recommending improvements to enhance mission effectiveness.

  • Coordinate contingency airlift support for humanitarian assistance, disaster response, crisis action, and emergent operations.

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense transportation policies, air mobility procedures, hazardous cargo regulations, and contractual requirements.

  • Maintain airlift planning documentation, cargo tracking records, transportation databases, and operational planning products.

  • Support operational exercises, deployment rehearsals, and mobility planning events.

  • Promote collaboration and continuous process improvement to enhance theater air mobility and logistics responsiveness.

  • Support distributed and contested logistics operations requiring rapid airlift planning and execution.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting air mobility planning, airlift operations, transportation planning, deployment operations, movement control, or logistics management for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, Air Mobility Command, U.S. Transportation Command, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience coordinating military or commercial airlift operations supporting personnel and cargo movement.

  • Experience supporting deployment planning, RSOI operations, transportation scheduling, or theater sustainment activities.

  • Experience preparing transportation documentation, movement schedules, cargo plans, and operational reports.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple organizations supporting air mobility and logistics operations while meeting operational timelines.

Desired

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Air Mobility Command (AMC), U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), Joint Task Forces, or Service Component headquarters.
