Senior Associate, Organizational Design & Analytics

Location: Hyderabad, India

Job Summary

The Senior Associate, Organizational Design & Analytics supports the maintenance of organizational designs and the delivery of organizational design and workforce-planning activities across Amgen. The role partners with HR, Finance, business functions, and leaders to produce clear insights, maintain hiring governance, support operational activities, and translate complex workforce data into effective reports and presentations.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and creative capabilities, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and will use approved AI-enabled tools, including Codex, responsibly to improve the quality, efficiency, and impact of team deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organizational design data, reports, dashboards, and trackers to support workforce planning, hiring activation, and organizational design workflows.

• Develop accurate, insightful, and visually effective reports and presentations for leaders, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders.

• Partner with leaders to organize, analyze, and synthesize workforce reports, enabling clear communication and informed decision-making.

• Support leaders and the team with operational activities, including planning, tracking actions, preparing meeting materials, and following up on agreed deliverables.

• Maintain hiring activation plans across assigned geographies and ensure requirements are activated in accordance with global processes, policies, and compliance requirements.

• Strengthen hiring governance and adherence to established guardrails to support disciplined workforce planning.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners on monthly data collection, validation, and publication of job requisitions.

• Use approved AI-enabled tools, including Codex, to improve data analysis, reporting, presentation development, and operational efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve reporting quality, and enhance the stakeholder experience through creative and practical solutions.

• Handle sensitive and confidential business, organizational, and employee information with the highest level of discretion.

• Collaborate effectively with global team members and stakeholders across time zones.

Must-Have Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and reporting.

• Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to develop concise, compelling, and visually polished presentations for leadership audiences.

• Ability to use approved AI-enabled tools, including Codex, to support analysis, content development, automation, and problem-solving.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.

• Ability to work directly with leaders, understand their reporting needs, and tailor materials to the intended audience.

• Creative mindset with the ability to present information in clear, engaging, and practical formats.

• Aptitude for organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and capability mapping.

• Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

• Two or more years of relevant experience in organizational design, workforce planning, HR operations, business analytics, reporting, or a comparable role.

• Experience supporting leadership teams through reporting, presentation development, and operational coordination.

• Experience using AI-enabled productivity or analytical tools in a business environment.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience;

OR

• Associate’s degree and 6 years of directly related experience;

OR

• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of directly related experience.
