Job Description:

At 3M CHK, we are expanding our AI enablement capabilities within the GBS Analytics & Insights team to accelerate and scale AI adoption across the enterprise. We are seeking an AI Business Consultant to identify high-value opportunities, shape business use cases, define measurable outcomes, and support the adoption of AI solutions across business functions, R&D for Commercial Excellence and Innovation Excellence.

This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of business, analytics, AI, IT and Legal. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and technical partners to turn ideas into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Identify and collect business challenges and opportunities where AI can create measurable value
• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear AI use cases, business requirements, and success metrics
• Build business cases and define KPIs, ROI, and value realization plans
• Partner with technical teams to shape solution concepts and align business requirements with technical feasibility
• Support solution design discussions involving generative AI, RAG, multi-agent workflows, predictive models, and integration with enterprise systems
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept efforts to validate feasibility and business value
• Drive stakeholder alignment across business teams and partner functions
• Help measure impact and support scaling of successful AI solutions across the enterprise

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Analytics, Data Science / Artificial Intelligence, Management Science / Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, digital transformation, consulting, AI product management, or a similar business-facing role
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into structured opportunities
• Good understanding of AI, analytics, or digital solutions in a business environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
• A collaborative, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital transformation programs
• Familiarity with generative AI, RAG, predictive analytics, or workflow automation
• Experience in commercial, innovation or other enterprise functions
• Exposure to prototyping, pilots, or proof-of-concept initiatives
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, applications is a plus
