Job Description

As the AE 1107C Field Service Representative, your key accountabilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining close liaison with all relevant sections of customer organization, and Rolls-Royce management.
• Providing first line troubleshooting assistance to onsite customers and assist with interpretation of all technical and operational requirements.
• Comply with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and/or the customer to ensure company business objectives and contract deliverables are met.
• Ability to travel on short notice domestically or internationally in support of campaigns, aircraft on ground (AOG) support, and customer requests for extended periods of one month or more in support of customer operations.
• Ability to meet certain requirements for visual acuity, as outlined in the Authorized Field Service Representative program, for purposes of performing essential job functions, such as visual inspection of hardware for serviceability.
• Ability to obtain a Japanese ministry of defense security clearance if required to perform daily duties.

Basic:

• Associates degree with 8+ years of experience in aviation or jet engine maintenance or in an aviation customer support role.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in aviation or jet engine maintenance or in an aviation customer support role.
• Or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in aviation or jet engine maintenance or in an aviation customer support role.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in aviation or jet engine maintenance or in an aviation customer support role.
• TOEIQ score 785 or above.

Preferred:

• Ability to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management.
•  Prior Field Service experience in aviation maintenance.
•  Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Computer competency using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.
