Join DIRECTV’s Advertising Sales team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-evolving world of Ad Sales. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that directly impact on how we deliver and monetize content across platforms.

Depending on your interests and background, you’ll be placed in one of the following focus areas:

Brand & Product Marketing

• Social Media reporting and engagement strategy
• Sales Marketing support & KPI dashboard maintenance
• Seasonal calendar development including event support and coordination
• Industry monitoring and insight summation

Strategy  

• Pull, analyze and develop reports that track market health and contextualize performance
• Develop strategic POV documents
• Summarize market trends and developing recommendations aligned with our priorities
• Synthesize outcomes and collaborate cross functionally to define action plans

Product/Business Development  

• Support system implementation initiatives through business analysis, testing, and process documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance CRM, OMS, and programmatic advertising operations platforms
• Evaluate workflows and user requirements to identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology enhancements
• Contribute to Agile projects by testing new features, providing feedback, and supporting successful solution delivery

Data Analytics & Insights

• Pull, analyze, and interpret campaign and measurement data to identify trends and develop insights
• Research industry developments, attribution solutions, and media measurement methodologies to support strategic initiatives
• Create dashboards, reports, and summaries that translate complex data into actionable recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally to document processes, align stakeholders, and drive execution of measurement initiatives

Ad Tech

• Design, build, and support advertising technology solutions that power TV and digital advertising workflows
• Leverage data analytics, cloud platforms, and engineering tools to identify opportunities and drive platform improvements
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver new features and capabilities
• Investigate and apply emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to solve business and technical challenges

Who We’re Looking For

• Students pursuing degrees in Advertising, Business, Marketing, Communications
• Business mindset and collaborative work style
• Passionate about TV, digital advertising, and Ad Tech and media technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Naturally inquisitive with a strong attention to detail
• Strong affinity and interest in working hands on with systems and technology
• Interest in software development from a business facing resource perspective

Program Details

• Duration: 10-week hybrid internship (in New York City office 2 days per week)
• Program Dates:  6/7/27 – 8/13/27
• Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
• This position can earn $20 - $28 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Undergrad $20 per hour; Grad $28 per hour.)
