What You Will Do
- Perform requirement analysis, test case design, test script development, and test execution with strong expertise in automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports in compliance with ASPICE guidelines.
- Design and implement automation frameworks for functional and regression testing, improving test efficiency and coverage.
- Built and maintain reusable Python libraries and Robot Framework test suites to enable scalable and maintainable test automation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Safety, Systems, QA) to ensure alignment of testing activities with Agile sprint goals.
- Conduct test reviews to ensure proper validation of functional safety goals and safety mechanisms.
- Work alongside developers to debug and resolve SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) test failures, ensuring timely issue resolution and improved system reliability.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, software integration, and validation within the automotive domain.
- Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ software development.
- Solid understanding of automotive software development processes and embedded system architectures.
- Experience performing software requirement analysis, change impact assessments, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Knowledge of Linux, QNX, or other embedded operating systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve moderately complex technical challenges.
- Experience collaborating with customer-facing engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively document, communicate, and present technical information.
- Proven capability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues without direct people management responsibility.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive technical solutions from requirement analysis through implementation, validation, and customer delivery.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Completed MCA [Master of Computer Applications].
- Have experience in Software Testing in Adaptive and Classical AUTOSAR.
- Have experience working with Vector Canoe Tools and QNX hardware.
- Have Hands-On Experience with Vector Canoe, Tessy, Polyspace, and Test framework development for testing Application in QNX board.
- ISTQB certification
