Micron Technology is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Advanced CMOS Device & Process Integration Engineer. This position is designed for early-career engineers who are interested in developing expertise in advanced CMOS device technology and process integration. The successful candidate will use AI-assisted tools (Claud Assist, Code Assist, etc.), including engineering assistants, coding assistants, and data analytics platforms, to enhance productivity, accelerate learning, improve decision-making, and increase operational efficiency. AI tools are expected to complement engineering judgment, technical knowledge, and hands-on problem solving. As an Advanced CMOS Device & Process Integration Engineer, you will contribute to the development of current and future CMOS technologies for advanced memory products. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and collaborate with teams across Process Engineering, Circuit Design, Layout, Product Engineering, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Modeling/TCAD. You will support silicon experiments, analyze electrical and process data, evaluate transistor performance, and help establish robust CMOS devices and process flows for high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the development and optimization of advanced CMOS devices and process integration flows.
• Execute engineering experiments and collect silicon data under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Analyze device and process data to identify trends, correlations, and potential improvement opportunities.
• Support improvements in transistor performance, process margin, reliability, yield, and manufacturing cost.
• Assist with transistor model validation and investigate discrepancies between silicon data, simulation results, and model predictions.
• Support the definition and evaluation of electrical test structures and parametric test items.
• Participate in process monitoring, design rule verification, and technology qualification activities.
• Document experimental results and communicate technical findings through reports and presentations.
• Develop scripts, dashboards, and automated workflows for engineering data analysis.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to improve data analysis, coding, technical documentation, experiment planning, and knowledge management.
• Follow appropriate data security, intellectual property, and AI governance requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with local and global cross-functional teams.
• Actively develop technical knowledge in CMOS device physics, process integration, DRAM technology, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor devices and standard CMOS transistor operation.
• Fundamental knowledge of MOSFET device physics, including threshold voltage, drive current, leakage current, short-channel effects, and capacitance.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, research, or project experience related to CMOS devices, DRAM, logic devices, semiconductor processing, or electrical characterization.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical data analysis, or semiconductor parametric testing.
• Familiarity with FinFET, Nanosheet, Gate-All-Around, or advanced CMOS technologies.
• Basic programming or scripting experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding, analytics, or documentation tools in a responsible manner.
• Experience presenting technical results to engineering teams.
