Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities:

1. Own the processing of new claim notifications accurately and promptly, capturing complete and correct information in the relevant claims systems and initiating the appropriate workflow.

2. Manage intermediate claim updates, including requests for information, status changes, reserve or exposure updates where applicable, and documentation of material developments.

3. Coordinate and process claim settlements in line with delegated authority, policy terms, client instructions, internal controls, and applicable regulatory or market requirements.

4. Provide regular, clear, and timely updates to underwriters and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, outstanding actions, risks, exceptions, and decisions required.

5. Maintain effective diary management by setting, reviewing, and closing diary items; prioritising time-sensitive actions; and escalating overdue or blocked activities.

6. Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable claim files, ensuring notes, correspondence, approvals, supporting documents, and settlement records are stored in the correct location.

7. Plan and prioritize daily workload against due dates, claim urgency, stakeholder commitments, and diary requirements.

8. Meet agreed turnaround times and productivity expectations without compromising claim accuracy, compliance, or customer and underwriter communication.

The role holder is expected to operate with integrity, take ownership of assigned claims activity, communicate proactively, protect confidential information, and contribute to a culture of quality, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. The responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs, regulatory expectations, client requirements, and changes to Marsh Claims operating models.
