Join Deutsche Bank Investment Banking Coverage’s team in Paris. Consistently recognised by the industry for activities in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising, our Corporate Finance business is a market leader in Investment Banking and Capital Markets. We provide a full range of investment banking services, including public and private equity and debt financing, M&A advice and private investment services for corporate and institutional clients.

Your mission, within our team, will be to assist several team members, mainly senior bankers, to optimize the management of their activities and time.

Each assistant in the team is assigned to specific bankers but must also be able to function in a pool and support other bankers during peak periods or in case of holidays/absence of one of the assistants..

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple agendas, plan and organize client meetings.  
• Organize travels (transport, hotels, taxis, etc.).
• Book meeting rooms, welcome clients and visitors from other Deutsche Bank entities.
• Welcome new joiners, request badges, access to IT systems, etc.
• Check and submit senior bankers' expense reports, process invoices, order supplies. Log client call reports.
• Standard assistant tasks and ad-hoc support for the other team assistants, depending on workload.

Skills

• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and requests from different bankers simultaneously.
• Very good level of spoken and written English required due to frequent interactions in English, face-to-face, by phone or email. Excellent oral and written communication.
• High level of discretion required, given the potentially confidential nature of the information and data handled.
• Rigorous, reliable, and responsive.
• Good practice of office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP (Concur, Ariba).
• Experience in a similar position in an investment bank is highly desired
