We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who shares our values to join our team as an Accounts Clerk. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to accuracy. In this role, you will play a key part in our accounting operations, ensuring all sales and cash receipts are recorded accurately in the Company’s accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter invoices, debit and credit notes accurately into the accounting system
• Reconcile suppliers' accounts and request supplier statements
• Update staff members' accounts
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
• Assist with various account reconciliations
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors and/or managers

REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing a recognized Accounting qualification (at least Level 1 ACCA or near completion CAT) or an Associates Degree in Business
• Five (5) subjects at CSEC General proficiency inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
• At least one (1) year working in an accounts environment is preferred.
• Computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Capable of performing accurate mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
