ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Account Managers play a vital role in ensuring our construction clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance programs. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued general contractors, specialty trades, and construction clients, as well as the insurance carrier staff who support them. We use a tiered, team-based servicing model rather than leaving one person to juggle everything solo. Account Managers work alongside Producers, fellow AMs, and Policy Service Assistants (PSAs), so you're supported by — and supporting — a team, not operating in a silo. As the point of contact, you will assist the team by managing a book of commercial construction accounts, including marketing to carriers, preparing quotes and proposals for GL, builders risk, and inland marine coverage, and quickly responding to policy inquiries by phone and email. You'll also maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders, review certificates of insurance and subcontractor compliance, check policies and endorsements for accuracy, and keep client files organized. Familiarity with the construction industry — job sites, subcontractor relationships, or project-based risk is a plus; we'll help you build that expertise.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Previous insurance industry experience preferred or professional business experience

• Active Property & Casualty license; or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred

• Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization

• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work with attention to detail

• Collaborate effectively within a positive team environment
