The Regional Account Manager Contractor is a key contributor to driving revenue growth through the development, management, and expansion of high-value customer accounts within an assigned region. This is a high-impact role focused on strategic account management, customer growth, and complex sales execution.
This role is pivotal in strengthening customer relationships and ensuring strategic accounts receive a consistent, high-value experience. The Regional Account Manager Contractor builds long-term relationships with key customers, identifies new business and expansion opportunities, and manages complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through close.
Serving as a primary point of contact for strategic accounts, the Regional Account Manager works closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support, to align resources with customer needs and business objectives. The role is responsible for deepening customer engagement, growing account value, expanding the company’s presence within the region, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
Your Day to Day
Strategic Account Management & Growth
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through existing-account expansion, customer retention, and new business development.
Manage a portfolio of assigned customer and partner accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and serving as a primary point of contact for business and commercial needs.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that align Zadara’s products and services with customer and partner objectives and drive long-term growth.
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion within existing accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews to assess customer satisfaction, review performance, address concerns, and identify new opportunities.
Maintain executive and commercial alignment with customers and partners, collaborating with Customer Success, Support, and technical teams to ensure issues and business requirements are addressed appropriately.
Manage commercial aspects of customer and partner agreements, including contract negotiations, renewals, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
New Business Development
Identify, prospect, qualify, and develop new customer and partner opportunities within the assigned region in collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, and Alliances.
Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and commercial solutions to prospective customers and partners.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline by leveraging prospecting tools, industry relationships, partner networks, and targeted sales and marketing campaigns.
Identify and participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities to generate pipeline, develop relationships, and strengthen awareness of the Zadara brand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Marketing and Alliances on partner campaigns, co-branded initiatives, demand-generation activities, and joint go-to-market strategies.
Partner with Solution Architects and other technical teams to ensure proposed solutions address customer requirements and business objectives.
Work with Product Management to communicate customer and partner feedback, market requirements, competitive intelligence, and emerging solution needs.
Partner with Finance and Legal on contracts, pricing, discounts, incentives, and other commercial terms.
Facilitate effective communication between customers, partners, and internal teams to support successful execution and long-term relationships.
Sales Performance & Market Intelligence
Maintain accurate and timely account, opportunity, pipeline, and activity data in Salesforce, HubSpot, and other designated sales tools.
Track sales performance and account targets and provide regular pipeline, forecast, and account-status reporting to management.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities, anticipate potential threats, and inform sales strategies.
Maintain strong knowledge of Zadara’s products and services, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and relevant industry best practices.
What you bring
5+ years of proven work experience as a Sales Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Sales Administrator, or a similar role in the Sales Department.
Extensive experience in Sales and Customer Experience will be an advantage.
Strong understanding and knowledge of sales performance metrics.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Business acumen with problem-solving skills.
Understanding of MS Office and CRM software.
Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
Extensive experience in B2B sales in a related industry.
In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
