Account Coordinator
We are seeking an Account Coordinator to take the lead on maintaining, nurturing, and expanding Wildsam's network of approximately 2,000 independent retail partners, including brick-and-mortar bookstores, outdoor shops, specialty gift boutiques, and non-profits across the country. In addition to managing wholesale partnerships and high-profile brand collaborations (e.g., Anthropologie, L.L. Bean, Opinel), this role drives direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital sales strategy and oversees end-to-end fulfillment logistics.
The ideal candidate blends high-level strategic thinking with meticulous, hands-on operational execution, serving as a key bridge between our editorial, sales, creative, and fulfillment partners.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Collaboration
Stay up to date on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in both the wholesale and DTC space to inform strategic decisions.
Plan the launch strategies for new Wildsam titles and collaborate with the operational and creative teams on the ongoing marketing of all 70+ titles to both wholesale and DTC markets.
Expand the Wildsam wholesale network, leveraging our brand and content.
Drive the achievement of sales targets across both wholesale and DTC channels, providing ongoing analysis and insights to ensure sustainable growth.
Wholesale Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts, including independent bookstores, outdoors shops, specialty gift, across the United States.
Own the end-to-end wholesale order lifecycle, establishing new protocols to elevate customer experience and fulfillment accuracy.
Track sales performance and provide regular reporting on account performance, including key metrics such as sales trends, order frequency, inventory levels, and new account acquisition.
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Sales Management
Oversee Wildsam's DTC channel, specifically our website, email channels, and brand partner strategies. Increase online sales, improve conversion rates, and optimize customer experiences.
Direct DTC marketing strategies, campaigns, and channel investments to maximize engagement and conversion.
Forecast monthly and annual sales targets for the DTC channel and provide regular reports on performance.
Operational Efficiency
Lead and optimize logistics and inventory strategy to ensure smooth order fulfillment for both wholesale and DTC channels, managing stock levels and reordering.
Identify areas for operational improvement in order management, account management, and customer service to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Competencies & Experience
Experience managing and growing a large retail partner network (~2,000 accounts), building relationships with independent bookstores/specialty retailers, and liaising with major brand and sponsorship partners.
Background in driving website sales, optimizing conversion funnels, managing email/social marketing collaborations, and setting DTC sales targets.
Hands-on knowledge of order management lifecycles, stock level management, forecasting, inventory reordering, and external 3PL/fulfillment vendor management.
Proficiency in tracking sales KPIs, order frequency, acquisition metrics, inventory turnover, and channel performance reporting.
Deep alignment with culture, travel, and book publishing; passion for independent retail ecosystems.
What A Successful Profile Looks Like
Ability to independently craft launch strategies for 70+ book titles while executing daily fulfillment workflows.
Comfort interfacing directly with senior leadership across creative, editorial, marketing, and operations.
Capacity to manage back-end logistics and customer service workflows without letting operational quality slip.

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.
Pay Range:
