Join a Growing Neurology Program at UMass Memorial Health

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks Neurologists and fellowship-trained subspecialists to join our growing Department of Neurology in Worcester, Massachusetts. We are seeking physicians with expertise in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology, Epilepsy, Headache Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Neurovascular Neurology.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical and academic environment of UMass Memorial Medical Center, the academic medical center of UMass Memorial Health and clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School. Our physicians care for a diverse and complex patient population while collaborating with specialists across a comprehensive academic health system.

We welcome experienced physicians and graduating fellows interested in building a rewarding clinical practice while contributing to education, research, mentorship, and program development.

Subspecialty Opportunities

Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology
Care for patients with memory disorders, cognitive impairment, dementia, and neurodegenerative diseases, with opportunities for multidisciplinary care, teaching, research, and program development.

Epilepsy
Provide comprehensive care for patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders, with opportunities involving inpatient and outpatient care, EEG interpretation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical program development.

Headache Medicine
Expand a focused practice caring for patients with migraine and complex headache disorders while collaborating with primary care, emergency medicine, pain medicine, neurosurgery, and other specialties.

Neuromuscular Medicine
Care for patients with peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, myopathies, motor neuron disease, and related conditions. Opportunities may include EMG/NCS, multidisciplinary clinics, teaching, and research.

Neurovascular Neurology
Join a multidisciplinary program caring for patients with acute and chronic cerebrovascular disease, with opportunities in stroke care, inpatient consultation, outpatient stroke clinics, secondary prevention, and collaboration with neurointerventional radiology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and critical care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Fellowship training in the applicable subspecialty preferred
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Subspecialty board certification/eligibility when applicable
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration
