UMKC supports several residencies and many of our physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students.  UHP is also the primary physician group for Truman Medical Centers/University Health in Kansas City, MO. known as “Kansas City’s Essential Hospital,” it is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. Position Description

The Section of Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the UMKC School of Medicine and University Health Physicians is seeking academic Med/Peds faculty for Primary Care positions. Opportunities are available for ambulatory-only practice or a combination of ambulatory and inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have the clinical expertise, academic interest, and interpersonal skills to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and active academic section.

Qualifications:

• Board-eligible or Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds)
• Commitment to high-quality patient care, teaching, and academic engagement
